I think most people I know have done this at some point (usually because it’s me instigating them) but it’s good to know that there’s a word for it!

As a linguistic note, Indonesian, or Bahasa Indonesia is a relatively easy language to pick up; it uses the Latin alphabet, it’s easy to pronounce, and has no tenses, no irregular verbs and no plurals! Take a look here for a little more information on this statement.
