-21- Tartle

Standard

Noun. From Scots.

“The awkward hesitation experienced when trying to remember the name of someone you are about to introduce.”

Tartle

This is another ‘I really had no idea there was a word for it” kind of word! It sounds quite onomatopoeic and you can really hear a Scots accent behind it if you try and say it.

As for the picture, I thought it’d work well as a turtle tartle

…*gets coat and leaves*
