-49- Kweesten (an amendment)

A couple of days ago I posted a word from Dutch (“Queesting“). I’ve done a bit more research into this, and it turns out that this is probably not the word I was after. It seems as though queesting may be used in very few contexts, but it seems like an Anglo-Dutch combination of the English ‘questing.’

Kweesten, however, is the verb meaning “to allow a lover access to ones’ bed to chat.”

There is a little more explanation on this website to indicate why both queesting and kweesten could be used and their origins.
