“An attitude of stubbornness, self-preservation and proud defiance”


This little, four letter word comes with a bucketload of hidden semantics. Not only does it mean stubbornness, but there is also the connotations of it being to the detriment of everyone, and even sometimes reflexively onto the same person. I guess it’s similar to situations where you know that you’re wrong, but you’re still making a stand for what you believe to be correct as to not let the other person ‘win…’
