Noun. From Rapa Nui.

“Somebody who prefers to disappear when there is work to be done, rather than dedicating themselves to it”


(I may be getting the wrong end of the stick with this picture. Maybe she’s running to work? Either way, she looks fabulous doing so!)

I’m not sure on when this word was first invoked in the Rapa Nui language, but it seems to be something of a very common occurrence in modern-day society, especially in my current sector of work. Enough said.
