αινολεκτρος is made up of two components: αινος meaning ‘horrible’ and λεκτρον meaning ‘bed’ or ‘marriage bed.’

It is a word that appears in the text ‘Agamemnon’ and is subject to a lot of different interpretations. Many believe it to mean something closer to ‘badly matched’ but the above translation has more of a dramatic effect; perhaps what the author was going for at the time.
