-153- Wasoso

Standard

Verb. From Hausa.

“To rush or to scramble for something that has been thrown”

women fighting over bouquet

I’m not sure in which context wasoso is used, but for some reason the immediate thing I thought of was catching.chasing the bouquet at weddings. I wonder if there’s a Hausa word for fighting over something that you just wasoso‘d…?
